Chef Julie Adauto attended the Culinary Academy in San Francisco and The French Pastry School in Chicago, and she has also been awarded the American Culinary Federation’s Regional Pastry Chef of the Year award and is a James Beard Foundation semifinalist.

A variety of pastries changes often, and on any given day you may find éclairs, brownies, linzers, macarons, cakes, puddings and tarts. This is also one of the only bakeries in town where you’ll find vegan, gluten-free and sugar free offerings like cupcakes, cinnamon rolls, cookies and carrot cake. Customers with other allergies and special diets can place an order ahead of time. Chef Julie also specializes in wedding and custom cakes and cupcakes that are either elegantly decorated or elaborately decorated with popular characters and themes. Every holiday season, customers can order pies of pecan, pumpkin, strawberry-rhubarb, apple, key lime and of course, gluten-free and vegan options.

“What I love most about this profession is the creative side of it. And, if you make a mistake, you can start over. Nobody gets hurt. “I feel this is what I was meant to do because I think that - most of all - I just want to make people happy.”



Orange Peel, pastries, cakes & more, specializes in providing Gluten Free, Vegan and Sugar Free cakes, cookies, cupcakes and breakfast breads. Specialty orders must be ordered one week in advance. Smaller items such as cupcakes, cinnamon rolls and doughnuts can be ordered 1 to 2 days in advance.
